Do 5 Things A Day That Bring You Happiness

24 hours in a day, 5 to 10 of those hours will be absorbed by work. What about the remaining 15-20? And let’s actually make work one of the things that makes you happy—I know my job makes me happy. So that was a goal of mine, I want what everyone wants, to be happy, and I figured I can do that at work if I find something I like doing and I did. I suggest we fit 5 things into our day that bring us happiness. Work check. Next is family. Because family is everything, and it’s a good order too, because as soon as you lose your job you report to your family or friends who we consider family. Just being around family or friends, spouse included brings me happiness—no one wants to be alone. The third thing I personally like to do is very general—so that I can mix it up once in a while. I like to play a game: video game, board game, take turns passing the remote whoever finds something most interesting on TV wins, small games. I just have to incorporate some type of game into my day, I talk to the TV when sports are on as if I was on the team saying things like ‘we almost had that’ so watching sports counts as well. I also include something humorous into my day: magazine, TV, joking with a friend, acting silly. I believe that working out in its essence is done for a purpose; if you focus on that purpose then you will be happy that you’re sweating a whole lot after some serious cardio. Furthermore, I myself love to feel exhausted after a good jogging. It helps to have a dog that needs walks all the time, we can do it together—my trusty companion. So we’ve got work, family, game, health, what’s last? Productivity! There’s always something to be done, and checking it off my list makes me happy. From: grocery shopping, reading to build my vocabulary, practicing writing, organizing things around the house etc. Anything that I can do to better myself or my home, I like to fit that ounce of effort into my day. If you schedule or at least have an outline of what you plan to do in a day, happiness will find you in 1 of the 5 activities if not all, you will be a better person as a happy camper, as am I. Who wants to feel stressed?�
