Working Runway Style Designs into Your Life, New City

It is extremely and understandably difficult to figure out when you would wear a runway style design in your everyday life. It only happens when you lose vision, either by not really considering the reality of your life or by not envisioning what you can do in your life that you may learn to love.

It’s safe to say that everyone dresses different or with some differences; when you go to the supermarket everyone isn’t wearing a black top, grey jeans and black shoes and speaking in monotone. So when you think about wearing a runway design, and you come to the conclusion that you will be standing out, you’re probably comparing yourself to… well yourself. It isn’t something you believe fits in, because it hasn’t fit into your closet yet, if you actually wear something high-end and fashionable and walk down the street WITHOUT LOOKING AT YOURSELF, you’ll notice that around you everyone is making their own statements. Standing out, is actually fitting in! In actuality you do fit in, it’s the classic hidden in plain sight scenario; where what you seek is right in front of you. Of course if you’re exploring your life it wouldn’t make sense to wear such a fancy design; this is why you have to be more instinctual and explore the sensation in your heart and mind. Its human emotion to not see past our shells, almost as a reflex, it’s what kicks in and confuses us—as long as you know this, it’s time to think.

Listen to your self-talk, ‘this is too extravagant, but my god it’s gorgeous’. All you are saying is that you will feel incredibly gorgeous and comfortable in that dress if you found an extravagant event to attend. You are not selling out if you want to do things a little different. It is pure interest and adaption; you like something and then adapt it into your life, just as you do with any other thing you come across. It’s not that you are trying to be someone who you aren’t. You actually won’t know until you try it and isn’t it logical to believe that it is the right direction if sparks were flying when you saw the outfit on the runway? Hmmm it’s time to think. By putting a little more thought into our emotions when we first get them you can answer a lot of questions about yourself, so in a way fitting runway designs into our life is to follow basic instincts. Instincts that tell you to discover if it can be done and instincts that encourage you to try it out.
