Sometimes I don’t think we realize how small our world actually is… You meet someone on vacation in the Carribean that is from your town. You probably have 30 mutual friends with someone on Facebook that lives in India and you have no idea who that person is. There are so many ways that our world is changing due to technology.

Back in the day you would get a job because of where you went to college, how hard you studied and how aggressive you were within the industry. All of these things are still true today but the main topic everyone keeps on hearing and that is shoved into our minds daily is the word network. What is networking and does it work?

YES, networking works. As Nike would say JUST DO IT! The more people you know and stay in contact with, the easier it will be to find a job. This is the reason that it is key to always be on your game. You may be tipsy at 4 in the morning at a hallal street cart and meet your future employer. Im not saying to never let your hair down, because life would be very boring that way. What I am saying that its important to be on your game and practice that charm that I know everyone has inside of them.  You just may get that dream job that you’ve been looking for in the most unexpected way.
