It’s not a reflection of your dressing skills at all; you’re just not competing with your cultures interest. But that’s okay, a teacher has to adapt lessons to student’s interests in order to educate them, same rules apply here if you’d like to experiment. Mix in 2 % of your cultures ideal outfits—a scarf, hat, shoes, accessories, something minor, and it will play a major role in your day. Moving to a new city, it may really peeve you, if you feed off of going out and getting attention, knowing that you’ve done an amazing job this morning only to be ignored. Don’t worry so much about it, you look good, but around those parts, your look is confusing or simply unfamiliar. So to break in your look, you simply collaborate with their desires with a little adjustment, and now they will see a little of what they are familiar with and a whole lot of you that they want to know about. This is how you turn heads, and regain attention over familiar territory. Bait them with what they want, hook them on your style, watch as they line up to admire what you’ve done. Sinking down to their level will be fun.
