You have to be a renaissance woman, a mover, and a shaker to be a fitting model. If you do not work for a company you are doing gig after gig. Nothing different from any other freelance career right. Wrong! The entire time you are searching for work, and running here and there around the city you have to remain the same weight. That is a task that is nearly impossible for women, weight comes and goes with emotions and runs like tears. A fitting model has to grasp a certain weight and remain this way in order to receive consistent work. Seeking out work with underground designers and companies, top retail headquarters, craigslist and more, it truly is a stressful hustle. Exercise must be planned accordingly and daily.  Much goes into this lifestyle; many fitting models do not have one gig a day, and are not compensated high amounts of money. They book multiple meetings with clients per day because they have to, and small gigs don’t always pay the best. Eventually this hard work pays off because once fitted into a great agency or establishing a long-term employment contract with clients it gets easier. Looks can be deceiving just because they are beautiful it does not mean they have it easy, the mentality of a fitting model is superior and remarkably strong for one to endure such a work out.
