You have to be a renaissance woman, a mover, and a shaker to be a fitting model. If you do not work for a company you are doing gig after gig. Nothing different from any other freelance career right. Wrong! The entire time you are searching for work, and running here and there around the city you have to remain the same weight.

Your portfolio is important, your looks are everything as a model book as many photo shoots as you can. It will never hurt you, but what you have to keep in mind is that this is a business so you have to be a businesswoman as well. To get higher paying jobs, you have to have higher level credentials.
