The award-winning team at GGLO, a collaborative and integrated firm in Seattle, is currently accepting applications for our 2019 Interior Design Summer Internship Program.
About The Role
We are seeking one summer Interior Design Intern who will support multiple teams, with the opportunity to experience interior design in a real-world context through hands-on work. They will work with award-winning project teams, participate in mentoring and coaching opportunities, attend GGLO’s continuing education and training programs, validate their chosen career path, and experience life as a GGLOer!
GGLO will be accepting applications through April 12th, with a decision made by May 1st.
What You Have (Requirements)
• Interior Design Degree, or working towards a degree from an accredited University in the United States
• Authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to commit to 10-12 weeks full time employment with GGLO
• Fluency in English
• Basic knowledge of Revit, SketchUp, and the Adobe Creative Suite required
• Knowledge of Enscape and/or Rhino a plus
• Basic knowledge of interior finish materials and sources
• Demonstrated ability to produce quality work
• Must be able to work independently and in groups
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and be flexible
• Proactive communicator
• Interest in sustainability and sustainable materials
