About The Role
The primary function of an Interior Designer at ****** is to design and develop the interiors of multiple project types and scales, applying design and technical knowledge, in a systems-thinking approach. This role actively collaborates and participates in design discourse and critiques with the team, expressing design ideas and solutions using a variety of design technology tools. You express your ideas through hand sketching, material palette curation, digital modeling, and rendering in client and Principal facing communication.

What You Have (Requirements):
• 8 - 10 years of Interior Design experience working with diverse clients and project types
• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited University
• NCIDQ or working towards certification
• LEED AP, WELL AP or other sustainability accreditation, or working towards accreditation
• Working knowledge of project types in our core markets
• Experience with all phases of design, concept through construction
• Ability to express design ideas through design narrative and graphic communication
• Ability to think three-dimensionally to understand and solve complex design issues
• Demonstrated systems-thinking approach to interior design, demonstrated through programming, space planning, interior development, materiality, and FF&E
• Ability to express design ideas and solutions through hand sketching, digital modeling, and rendering using our design technology tools, including Rhino, Revit, and Enscape
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft OS
• Ability to work in a team environment, on multiple projects assigned in multiple offices
• Willingness and ability to travel for project-related responsibilities

• Demonstrate high-quality communication skills in all forms - drawing, writing, speaking, artistic expression, research and more
• Align with ******’s design philosophy and beliefs, with commitment to applying ******’s design philosophy and approach to the work
• Demonstrate agility and ability to work across multi-disciplinary teams, to think though spaces from the inside-out and the outside-in
