How to get a job at a photography studio?

It would depend if the studio or business wanted a trainee or an experienced person. Trainee, they would want someone with a keen interest in the business/subject and a good book would be less important. Experienced - a good portfolio is extremely important, more so than where you were educated or what bits of paper you have to show you have done x or y courses.
