how do i get a photography job at an agency?

Lots of advertising/design/branding agencies have photography jobs that they need to create advertisements. Sometimes they have in house people and sometimes they look for talent. Having a portfolio is a great way to showcase your talents so that when they are ready to choose someone  you have a great presence.
