If you have been hired as an associate buyer it will be important to stay on your toes and always ask questions if you are unclear about an order, if you are low on stock. As a buyer you have to watch trends, see what sells and what doesn’t. With that in mind, you will want to go that extra mile, stay ahead of orders, as you see a trend of one item picking up plan ahead, or if another item is over stocked, out that item on hold on your next buy. Always stay on top of things and monitor what’s going on around you.
