POSITION PURPOSE:

Bonneville Sacramento is seeking a responsible, hard working, creative and dedicated full-time Promotion Assistant to join our team. Ideal candidate will be energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively, fast-paced environment while working under tight deadlines, and bringing a positive attitude to the workplace.

This is an on-site role that requires the employee to work at our Sacramento Commerce Circle site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITES:

Assist with coordination and implementation of all station appearances
Assist Promotion Director with scheduling of Van Hits, Remotes, and station appearances
Assist with training of Part-time promotion team members
Work with sales and programming departments to acquire all elements needed for station appearances, i.e. copy, prizes, complete event information, etc.
Create and update event listings for the website
Decorating van and tent for holidays
Prepare signage, prizes, and giveaways for station appearances
Maintain station vehicles, banners, equipment, and all associated promotional assets
Work with local community event organizers to create on-site opportunities for stations
Provide station event recaps
Assist the Promotions Directors with weekly station e-blasts
Attend station events and assist with event set-up, execution, and tear down
Execute on-site activations at concerts and events
Interact with listeners and clients in a friendly, professional manner
Other marketing/promotional duties as assigned by manager and Program Director
REQUIRED SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ABILITIES:

A valid driver license and clean driving record in a must
Must be a professional and proven team player with customer focus
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Must have a flexible schedule and be able to work days, nights, weekends and holidays
Ability to lead, train, and inspire other promotions staff
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and creative
Must be reliable, responsible, dependable and able to fulfill obligations
Willing to be flexible with work environment; i.e. working outdoors in any condition, at festivals, local business, etc.
Experience in public relations or marketing preferred
Experience with photo and video editing software a plus
Knowledge of and proficient use of Wordpress a plus
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds consistently
Able to set up 10x10 tent on your own
