****** is seeking a demonstrated outside sales leader to head up our strategic growth in integrated media. The right individual will have a demonstrated background in digital sales, launching digital platforms, broadcast radio, custom programming, and event sponsorships. The primary focus is revenue growth via new business and upgrading existing clients to meet and exceed assigned revenue goals.
Responsible for achieving market digital / event (Integrated Media) sales goals.
Conceive, write and create new integrated media revenue business opportunities like sponsorship decks for events.
Participate in annual digital & event budget planning
Attend and participate in sales meetings.
Educate sales managers and account executives on integrated media tools and opportunities.
Manage and counsel direct support in both the digital and event/sponsorship departments
Assist in the brainstorming of categories to call on for integrated media.
Assist General Sales Managers in managing the New Business Development account lists
Develop and maintain strong business relationships with clients/agencies.
Assist sellers in growing current client revenue share.
Develop customized presentations of the highest quality for new and existing revenue opportunities.
Develop and grow relationships at multiple levels of the customer\'s organization in order to guarantee effective contacts internal to the organization and to be aware of problems and opportunities.
Adhere to station policies regarding pricing, merchandising, commercial content, competitive product protection, etc.
Monitor competition and trends in market.
Other duties as assigned by Senior Management.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
5+ years in media-related experience selling digital platforms as well as previous sales management experience
2+ years in media event planning
Must be familiar with prevailing Digital Media Technologies such as Display, Video, Search, Social, HTML, Streaming Media, Campaign Attribution, Podcasting, etc.
Must be familiar with event sponsorship and execution
Thorough knowledge of media sales and in-depth knowledge of research, marketing and branding
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and be able to create polished sales presentations
Excellent presentation skills are required as are strong written and oral communication skills
A valid driver license and clean driving record in a must
4-year degree preferred
Prior radio experience preferred
Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion
