Our Street Team Leader will play an essential role in personifying and acting as brand ambassador on behalf of ****** to create excitement and assist in growing and strengthening our fan base within the community. The ideal candidate is a highly driven individual who is enthusiastic, personable and dependable. The Street Team Leader will further a culture of best-in-class customer service and relationship building through day-to-day interactions and strategic touch points during game day and various other community activations and events.
ABOUT ******:

Major League Soccer's (MLS) first majority female-owned and female-led organization will play its inaugural MLS season in 2023. The 100 percent St. Louis-based owners are committed to becoming an exceptional club and neighbor and a symbol for the future of our city and region.

****** will play in a brand new, state-of-the-art soccer stadium to be built on approximately 35 acres in downtown St. Louis, Missouri. Seating capacity of the open-air stadium will be 22,500. Included with the build of the stadium will be the team Administrative Offices and Training Facility immediately adjacent to the stadium in Downtown West St. Louis.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:


Represent and promote ****** at activations and events.

Oversee and execute activations and events including setup and breakdown.

Assist in identifying, interviewing, and hiring Street Team associates.

Motivate and train Street Team associates.

Schedule Street Team associates accordingly for all activations and events.

Collect consumer data as needed for club reporting purposes.

Work collaboratively and understand objectives for internal departments, such as Retail, Community Relations, Marketing, Sponsorship, Ticketing and Fan Experience, to ensure a seamless and "all-in" approach that delivers value and impact to our fans.

Maintain expertise of Major League Soccer and ****** rules, guidelines, and procedures to ensure compliance across all activations



QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience


Professionalism and extraordinary problem-solving skills.

Great communication and leadership skills.

Must be extremely organized and can successfully juggle multiple tasks at a time.

Able to work non-traditional hours, in non-traditional settings, within a team atmosphere including all home game days.

Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

Retail and point of sale experience preferred.

Special event and activation experience preferred.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.



Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities


High-level of personal initiative, drive and accountability.

Strong command of reasoned, good decision-making skills, solid judgment, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Strong teamwork and relationship management skills with the ability to work effectively with all personalities to support a strong, unified culture.

Flexible and reliable team player, both within own department and entire organization.

Adaptable and able to identify problems, their sources, and their potential solutions while continuing to successfully conduct day-to-day operations without interruption.

MLS and soccer knowledge preferred.
