****** is looking to hire a Project Manager, Player Engagement to help deliver a world-class fan experience from the soccer club through structured and efficient processes. They will support all aspects of communication and plans for cross department work between Sporting and Experience, Sponsorship and Community Relations.

INNOVATIVE THINKING

THE ROLE

To act as the boots-on-the ground day-to-day liaison between the talent (players and coaching staff) and the front office.
To manage talent asks based on the ebbs and flows of a sports organization
Serve as a cross-functional departmental and organizational liaison to maintain strategic project plans for internal clients including (but not limited to): Partnerships, Public Relations, Retail, Content, and Events.
Effectively Integrate talent into club events making sure the players are looked after start to finish
Support and contribute to meetings with CITY Creative and the Project Management team to construct full-integration plans for projects including timelines for deliverables
Communicate production plan elements and event shoots in coordination with all CITY organizational departments and external partners
Track timelines, personal calendars and talent resources
Manage project communication to ensure accurate updates are available
Work with CITY Project Management Team to assign resources and ensure deliverables are accurate and on time
Perform additional duties as assigned by the VP on Content, Creative Directors and Project Management Lead.

THINGS WE LOOK FOR IN CANDIDATES

Minimum 3-5 years experience in marketing, production, project management or a similar creative field
Needs to have high levels of social EQ with the ability to bring out the best of a variety of personalities in high stress moments
Talent come from different backgrounds, have different levels of media experience, and have different levels of English
Will need to be comfortable being self-directed in certain moments due to the nature of working at the training ground
Deeply passionate about content and process, but is also highly organized and an excellent communicator that enjoys executing a project from start to finish. We want a partner, not an e-mail forwarder.
Practices a positive, solutions-based "yes, and" communication style and attitude
Demonstrates excellent responsiveness, proactive communication, follow-through, and attention to detail while coordinating project activities across teams and with internal stakeholders.
Exceptional diplomacy and a proven ability to manage a variety of stakeholders and communicate effectively and respectfully.
Self-directed. Must be able to work independently, but not afraid to ask for help when you need it.
Detail-oriented. We need everyone on the team to believe in total accountability
Passion and knowledge of sport (soccer preferable)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

Mobility:

Ability to be both mobile and stationary at various points, throughout the workday.
Lifting:

Push, pull, lift between 25-50 pounds.
Work Environment:

Typical office environment.
Equipment:

Typical office equipment (i.e., computer, printer, scanner, desktop monitors, etc.).
