POSITION PURPOSE:

****** is seeking a demonstrated outside sales leader to inspire account executives to achieve personal financial goals (and station budget) by working with them through the sales process. The right candidate will coach, mentor, and inspire, without having to manage.



KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Candidate will work with the AE's coming from a position of experience, empathy, and success to accomplish the following:

Aide Account Executives with prospecting and research; spending time in our CRM to make sure our targets and prospects are being serviced, and that we are moving them to the next steps
Mentor the AE's on best practices for setting appointments and conducting CNA's
Guide AE's through the proposal and presentation process
Help the AE's overcome objections, negotiate, and close business
Identify opportunities for AE's (hot categories/verticals, ideation, custom programs)
Influence existing and non-existing clients to do more business, or new business with Bonneville
Go out on appointments set by the AE's
Must be willing to become a leader and local expert in audio (radio), digital, event and sports opportunities
Other duties as assigned by Senior Management



ADDITIONAL DUTIES:

Work with our event, digital, and audio departments to build out integrated sales decks
Work our station's events and help create new ideas for future events
Assist with relationship building and customer service
Create opportunities beyond day-to-day sales opportunities (new custom programs)
Potentially help relaunch our philanthropic arm helping to generate new sales revenues, while giving back to the community with a percentage of new/incremental growth



REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Must be familiar with prevailing Digital Media Technologies such as Display, Video, Search, Social, HTML, Streaming Media, Campaign Attribution, Podcasting, etc.
Must be familiar with event sponsorship and execution
Thorough knowledge of media sales and in-depth knowledge of research, marketing and branding
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and be able to create polished sales presentations
Excellent presentation skills are required, as are strong written and oral communication skills
Ability to consistently work hours required. Works more when required to meet deadlines including weekends, evenings, etc.
A valid driver license and clean driving record in a must
4-year degree preferred
Prior radio experience preferred



PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Receive, process, and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Ability to sit for long periods of time
Lift, move, and carry up to 20 pounds on occasion
