When you are looking for a wedding photographer with experience the best thing you can do is take the time to research and interview. When you place an ad for a photographer you are going to get several different responses. Some of these people will be current photography students and some will be new graduates. What you can assume is that you are not going to get seasoned wedding photographers responding to ads. This can happen, but when you are looking for a professional who has been in the business for 10+ years, they wait for you to call them, not the other way around.
