POSITION PURPOSE:

Bonneville International is seeking a responsible, hard-working, creative and dedicated full-time Events Coordinator. The ideal candidate is energetic, efficient and capable of multi-tasking in a lively, fast-paced environment all while bringing a positive attitude to the workplace. You must be a team player who takes initiative with excellent written, verbal, computer, and communication skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist Events Director with coordinating details of station events including event production during set-up, execution and break down
Coordinate event logistics including visits to venue to assist with event layout and ordering necessary items required; i.e. tables, chairs, linens, fencing, backline and more
Propose new ideas to improve event planning and implementation process
Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met and budgets are adhered to
Build relationships with vendors and obtain multiple quotes on products to ensure best pricing
Track event contracts to ensure all are fully executed prior to the event date
Responsible for sending and keeping track of event invoices, sponsor agreements, vendor contracts, and certificates of insurance
Initiate and coordinate in all efforts to publicize including design, create and/or edit of promotional materials alongside with Promotion Department
Create Sales decks for events and update as needed
Create and manage ticket sales website
Assist in closing out all events as required including event recaps and P&Ls
Keep inventory of event supplies including tents, beverages, decorations, etc.
Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:

Must be a professional and a proven team player with customer focus
Must be available to work days/evenings/weekends/holidays and may work more when required to meet deadlines
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
Must be highly organized, detail-oriented and creative.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Must have valid driver license and a clean driving record

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Receive, process and maintain information through oral and/or written communication effectively.
Substantial physical movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
Ability to extend hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction with good eye and hand coordination.
Lift, move, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
