We are looking for a hard-working, high-energy cashier to join our company. You'll be responsible for facilitating money transactions for customers by using a cash register. You will ring up sales by accepting credit, debit, cheques, or cash. Cashiers handle large amounts of money each day, so you will also be expected to act with honesty and integrity, and must possess excellent customer service skills, and knowledge of our products.
Typical Job Duties and Responsibilities
-Greet customers when entering or leaving the store.
-Provide excellent customer service to ensure satisfaction.
-Accepting payment by credit, debit, voucher, cheque, or cash.
-Bag, box, or wrap packages.
-Issue receipts, refunds, change or tickets.
-Processing refunds and exchanges, resolving complaints.
Job Requirements
-Must be able to take direction, to work with minimal supervision.
-Attention to detail, planning, organization, and daily delivery requirements.
-High school degree.
-Integrity.
-All applicants for employment are required to successfully pass a criminal background check.
