This position initiates and coordinates administrative projects for the News Department, including all billing. Position will be responsible for providing News Director and Controller weekly reports detailing costs for items such as overtime, per diem usage, stringer usage, etc. In addition the Administrative Coordinator will ensure all purchase orders are done to CBS standards. The Administrative Coordinator will assist with: booking travel; timesheet management, newsroom schedules, tracking vacation/sick time for news department; maintain and order newsroom office supplies; will handle the cellphone and wifi management for news department, which includes distribution and billing. The Administrative Coordinator should be a highly organized individual who is proactive and a self-starter. Other duties as needed.
This position reports to the News Director.
Minimum of 3 years Administrative experience.
Outstanding computer skills Microsoft Word. Excellent Excel skills a must.
Excellent communication and grammar skills.
