globaledit, the brand behind the leading secure cloud-based creative collaboration service for professional digital photography and other media, is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the efforts of our software product team. The Director of Product Management owns the critical role of collecting, refining, distilling and disseminating the vision and requirements of our product line which includes a) the existing best-of-breed globaledit product and b) new product development and launch.

We need an experienced and capable SaaS - savvy product leader to provide consistent, successful strategic and tactical execution behind the vision of the executive product team. You are a seasoned product professional with proven track record of delivering successful products.

Product Strategy & Planning:

Communicate and champion the product vision throughout the organization. Be the go-to expert on product strategy, roadmap, capabilities, and features of both current and future products.
Collaborate with senior leadership, customer service, sales, marketing, engineering, design, and product development teams to drive consistently successful product releases.
Facilitate and drive a process to provide consensus around critical business and marketplace objectives as defined by the executive product ownership team. Be the bridge between high-level product vision and product team execution.
Track overall market trends and competitive dynamics: generate and maintain accurate, up-to-date and accessible strategic marketplace data, including detailed competitive analysis/reports, assessment of best-in-breed practices, and insight into relevant technologies as they impact the marketplace.
Product Execution:

Work closely with executive product ownership team to define, refine, distill, prioritize and execute requirements around product features, enhancements and operational improvements designed to enhance revenue and efficiency.
Be the owner and facilitator of the long term roadmap, working closely and frequently with the executive team to distill business objectives into actionable epics. Communicate the roadmap across multiple channels within the organization.
Lead and drive the requirements gathering and refinement process via best-in-class practices, methodologies, and techniques.
Work with the executive product ownership team to define and monitor business metrics and KPIs. Own the KPI dashboard for the product line, including granular definition and analysis of metrics, goals, objectives.
Attend meetings with clients and the client services team to capture feedback and recommendations on products and features.
Leadership & Management:

Provide leadership, motivation and hands-on direction to product, design and development teams .
Motivate the team through proactive performance management, clear accountability and on-going measurement against goals.
Set cross-functional goals and help to prioritize work and hold cross-functional team members accountable to their commitments in a diplomatic, professional manner.
Cultivate an agile and results-driven culture of communication, transparency, and team empowerment. Lead by example - lead from the front.

8+ years of direct experience in software product management, with a minimum of 2 years leadership in modern SaaS technology product strategy and management.
Solid understanding of online and offline content and creative tools, systems and processes.
Proficient in the development of competitive assessments and positioning; product planning and roadmap definition; sales training and presentations.
Ability to represent the company in business partnerships and client discussions with professionalism and intelligence.
Proven ability to develop and present analysis-based strategic plans to penetrate markets and develop successful products.
An understanding of software architecture such as SOA and experience working with the software development lifecycle.
Demonstrated ability to positively influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
Communication, leadership, team building, and people management skills.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
